Geelong has silenced many of its critics with a 68-point annihilation of Collingwood in their semi-final at the Gabba.
The Cats, who came under fire following their loss to Port Adelaide in the opening week of the finals, defeated the Magpies 15.10 (100) to 5.2 (32), having built the victory on a dominate first half.
They led by 54 points at half-time after kicking nine goals to one in the opening two quarters, before finishing the job after the main break.
The Cats will face the Brisbane Lions in the preliminary final stage, with a spot in the grand final up for grabs.
