Tottenham Hotspur fans are hoping Gedson Fernandes is handed his full debut in the FA Cup fourth round tie against Southampton this afternoon.
The Portuguese midfielder has made two substitute appearances since joining Tottenham on loan earlier this month, with the 21-year-old coming off the bench against Watford and Norwich City in the recent Premier League matches.
But now, with Spurs facing Southampton in the FA Cup fourth round at St Mary's this weekend, he is in contention to make his first start for the club since joining from Benfica.
