Now that A level results day has been and gone, talk and attentions now turn to younger students and the outcome of their GCSE's.
It may feel like a long time already since school was out and the exams were over but its time to re jog those memories with GCSE results day on Thursday, August 22.
Many school leavers across England and Wales will be hoping to have got the grades they hoped for to move on to sixth form, college or an apprenticeship .
Students will generally be able to collect their results from their school or college in the morning but check with your own institution as to what time they will be open from.
Just like with A level grade boundaries, the grading system for GCSE's were released in advance of results day but this was stopped to avoid unnecessary stress for students.
Instead, they will be released from 6am on results day itself.
Each individual exam board will separately publish their grade boundaries and will be found on their websites.
