Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf has stressed the importance of continuing coordination, cooperation and support for distinguished Gulf-European relations to seize opportunities in all fields and serve common interests.
This came during the Secretary General's meeting in Riyadh on Thursday with European Union Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Patrick Simonnet and ambassadors of the EU countries accredited to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Hajraf reviewed the achievements of the GCC, referring to the outcomes of the 42nd GCC Summit, which was held in Riyadh on December 14, 2021.
The meeting dealt with aspects of cooperation between the GCC and the EU, and ways to enhance it.
Developments in the region and the world were also discussed.
