Great British Bake Off star Mark Lutton has welcomed a newborn baby to the world with partner Laura Dean.
The GBBO contestant took to Instagram to announce the news and reveal a snap of his son, who was born at Liverpool Women's Hospital.
He wrote: "Welcoming the new addition to our family - Sidney Lutton-Dean who was born last week.

"Laura and Sid are doing great, and we’re loving spending time together as a family getting to know this wonderful little chap.

Fans were also quick to congratulate the new parents.

Mark lasted six weeks on GBBO before leaving.
Originally from Northern Ireland, Mark has called Liverpool his home for almost a decade now, and has followed a number of previous bakers hailing from Liverpool to compete on the show.
