The Great British Bake Off contestant Lottie Bedlow is said to be a 'huge fan' of judge Paul Hollywood.
The 31-year-old has had a good run on the Channel 4 baking contest so far - even getting the much-desired 'handshake' from Paul for her Quarantine Florentines.
Now a friend of Lottie's told The Sun that her being picked to appear on the hit show was a "dream come true".
They said" "She’s always been a massive fan of the programme, and of Paul, so she’ll have loved the fact he has already picked her out as a star baker.
The friend added: "She has been hoping to catch his eye as she is a huge fan of his — not in a romantic way but she loves his baking and his manner."
Lottie now boasts 10,500 followers on Instagram - more than any of the other contestants.
She caused quite a reaction on social media after last week's episode.
One fan wrote on Twitter : "Lottie has every man and woman lusting after her and her Viking feast #gbbo ".
Another added: "First handshake of the new series! Go Lottie! #GBBO ".
"THIS IS NOT A DRILL LOTTIE GOT A HANDSHAKE THIS IS NOT A DRILL #gbbo," wrote another on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, another liked the vibes Lottie gave off, saying: "'just want to curl up in a ball and die quietly' - what a mood lottie #gbbo ".
A different fan commented: "Ok, I’m calling it now... Lottie, Peter and Sura in the final, Lottie to win #GBBO ".
"Lottie giving her left over chocolate to Mark has cemented her place as her parents favourite child. We all stan a sharing queen. #GBBO ", penned another Twitter user.
FInally, one GBBO viewer concluded: "Drawing Lottie in the office #GBBO sweepstake is the best thing that's happened to me this year."
