GBBO's Peter Sawkins praised by fans as he holds hands with mystery man in Pride month

Great British Bake Off winner Peter Sawkins has been flooded with praise after he posted a video holding hands with a mystery man during Pride Month.

The baker, 21 - who rose to prominence as the winner of the Channel 4 competition series in 2020 - shared the video with his 251,000 followers on Instagram earlier this week.

Peter uploaded the heartwarming clip of him sightseeing on holiday before showing off his new love with a sweet moment of them holding hands.

The baker accompanied the video with the love song Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez.

Peter wrote about 'wanderlust' in the caption, with him writing about the concept: "A strong desire for or impulse to wonder or travel the world. Collect memories, not things."

The clip - which shows him touring an outdoor area abroad, looking at plants and water features - was inundated with comments from fans who were touched by the video.
