A GAZA-BOUND flotilla carrying aid and pro-Palestinian activists have reported explosions and multiple drones that targeted some of their boats.
“Multiple drones, unidentified objects dropped, communications jammed and explosions heard from a number of boats,” the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) said in a statement.
“We are witnessing these psychological operations first-hand, right now, but we will not be intimidated.”
Currently situated near Greece, it is the largest humanitarian mission of its kind, with dozens of activists from 44 different countries taking part – including a delegation from the UK, and several Scots.
Despite this, Keir Starmer previously refused to offer protection to the 13 UK citizens taking part.
Kieran Andrieu, a Novara Media journalist onboard one of the vessels, says he believes there had been 11 explosions.
He wrote last night: "As this goes on, a pattern is emerging: the drones are actively targeting the sailing boats, aiming to destroy their masts."
We think we’re at 11 explosions now. As this goes on, a pattern is emerging: the drones are actively targeting the sailing boats, aiming to destroy their masts.

The Seulle, which Glasgow activist James Hickey is onboard, does not appear to have been attacked.
Earlier this month, the GSF said that it was attacked by drones over two days while in Tunisia. None of the passengers or crew were harmed.
Israel said Monday it would not allow the flotilla to reach Gaza amid its ongoing genocide.
It also blocked two earlier attempts by activists to reach Gaza by sea in June and July.
The Foreign Office has been approached for comment.
