Gaz Beadle's fiancée has revealed she is undergoing heart surgery ahead of their wedding this summer.
Emma McVey, who has been engaged to the Geordie Shore star since 2019, said she has recently been diagnosed with a heart condition.
When she was asked to give more details, she told her fans that she is having an x-ray on her heart so doctors can take a proper look at it.
The 28-year-old shared the news when she was answering questions from her followers on Instagram.
One asked her how she managed to stay slim when she enjoys snacking, and Emma revealed that her heart condition means she doesn't put on weight.
The fan asked: "How do you keep so thin? You eat chocolate."
Emma replied: "I'm actually trying to gain weight but it's pretty impossible.
"I have a heart condition that we recently found out about that has a lot to do with it.
"I wouldn't choose to be this thin I would love a bum and some curves!"
Later a fan asked her if she would be having heart surgery, and she replied: "I am. My next appointment is a dye into my arteries.
"Just googled it's called an angiogram.
"Honestly my head is baffled at the moment with it all. But I will update when I have a date etc."
An angiogram, which is also known as a cardiac catheterisation, is a type of x-ray which uses dye to allow doctors to look at the coronary arteries.
It shows how well the blood is flowing and if there is any narrowing.
Gaz recently revealed their plans to get married in July.
The couple have been together since 2016 and got engaged two years ago.
They share two children: Chester, three, and one-year-old Primrose.
When asked if they'd get married this summer, Gaz told his Instagram followers: "Yer July is looking ok for restrictions etc."
