We have great news for Gavin & Stacey fans - particularly for those who love Gavin's mum Pam - as she will be hosting a special themed quiz this week alongside her on-screen son.
Alison Steadman will be joined by Matthew Horne, who plays Gavin, for a virtual quiz on Thursday, May 21 to raise money for Marie Curie.
Speaking on This Morning, Alison told presenters Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield: "I'm a little bit apprehensive. But I want to do it because it's a great way of raising money for Marie Curie.
"Marie Curie are desperate for some funds in this awful time we are living in. Charities are losing money."
The news of the quiz will excite fans, who have have been demanding another Gavin & Stacey episode since the Christmas special ended on a cliffhanger.
Speaking about the chance of a new episode, Steadman told the Radio Times: “I don’t take any notice of rumours. But there’s no way I wouldn’t do it. I’d run to Cardiff to be involved.”
This week's quiz is part of Marie Curie's weekly celebrity offering - past hosts include Anneka Rice, Paul Chuckle and Basil Brush.
Gavin & Stacey superfans will enjoy every moment of recalling key moments from the sitcom - and there's sure to be plenty of Gavin and Pam jokes.
There is no fee to take part, although Marie Curie says: "We’d be really grateful if you'd donate £5 to take part (or however much you can afford). We rely on the generosity of the public to deliver our care."
