Gavin & Stacey's James Corden has a new film role but fans aren't impressed

Since starring in the 2019 adaption of Cats, which was not well-received critically or by the public, James Corden has come under fire again for another musical role.

On Tuesday, Amazon Prime released a trailer for their new Cinderella film, which will air on Amazon Prime on Friday, September, 3.

The trailer shows the Gavin & Stacey star and co-creator appearing as one of Cinderella's mice who turn into footmen after the magic of the fairy godmother.

Not only playing a role in the film, alongside main star Camila Cabello as Cinderella and Pierce Brosnan as King Rowan, Corden is also co-producing the show.

Since Cats James has also appeared in the musical The Prom and previously appeared in the Into The Woods musical, which was released in 2014.

People were quick to take to Twitter to air their thoughts about him appearing in another musical.

One said: "there needs to be jumpscare warnings for James Corden I can't escape him."

Another said: "somebody has to make a study about how James Corden finds his way into EVERY musical movie"

And: "This was going bad but then James Corden showed up and then it got worse"

A fourth said: "What kind of blackmail does James Corden have on Hollywood that he keeps getting cast in acting roles."
