Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' opened on Wednesday to massive fan frenzy across the country. Joining in the celebrations were a bunch of Gauri Khan's friends, who dressed their best and stepped out to attend a special screening of the film at a studio in Mumbai.
Everyone from Sussanne Khan to Nandita Mahtani, Maheep Kapoor and others got together for a fun night at the theatre and to also celebrate the film's release with a small bash. Taking to their social media handles, the ladies heaped praise on Shah Rukh and his co-stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The ladies also took to their handles to post photos and selfies from their fun night together.

Besides showering SRK with love, the ladies also congratulated Gauri on the success of the film which is hailed for bringing back days of hooting, whistling and dancing in the aisles of packed single and multi-screen theatres across the country.
Given the huge response to the film, which opened across 5,000 screens in India, Yash Raj Films said it had added a post-midnight 12.30 am show across the country beginning on Wednesday.
Besides, 300 more screens were added due to high demand. The film's screen count now stands at 8,500 worldwide.
According to box office reports, 'Pathaan' has smashed all records and created history on its opening day. The film reportedly collected an estimated Rs 53-54 crore in just Hindi alone. Reports further state that the film earned an added Rs 1-1.50 crore nett in Southern languages.
