Shah Rukh Khan's interior designer wife, Gauri Khan, has been known to help decorate their friends' houses and office spaces. The star wife recently designed SRK's BFF Karan Johar's new bachelor pad.
The Instagram page of an architectural magazine shared a picture of their latest cover, featuring Karan, and mentioned how the filmmaker’s apartment, situated in Mumbai’s posh neighborhood Pali Hill, underwent a renovation.
Speaking to the magazine, Karan said that he would highly recommend that if anyone has a friend who is an interior expert, they should get them to design their homes. According to him, Gauri gave his home so much love and that it really shows in every corner. Replying to that, Gauri added that Karan's approval means the most to her. According to her, it is like getting an A-plus in an exam!
Karan mentioned that his home has a wraparound terrace, which lends itself to a vast space that has been newly designed. The filmmaker added that it is such a vast space, and with no furniture around, the kids could run around and play. He also revealed that every evening, once Roohi and Yash were done with virtual schooling, they would gather there for chai, and get in some family time.
Spilling some beans on her work, Gauri remarked that the bachelor pad has been designed to reflect who Karan is: glamorous, fun, and also a little over the top!
Karan is awaiting the release of his next directorial, 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. It is slated to hit theatres on July 28, 2023.
