Flights have resumed at Gatwick Airport as two arrests were made over the "criminal use of drones" which caused travel chaos in the run up to Christmas.
A man and a woman were detained by officers "in the Gatwick area" at around 10pm on Friday, police said.
The airport said on Saturday morning that the runway is open but passengers are urged to check with their airline before travelling.
Since the drones were spotted at the airport on Wednesday around 1,000 aircraft have been cancelled or diverted affecting approximately 140,000 passengers.
