Gateshead's Brewery Tap is having a big 90s night with a Spice Girls tribute

Sorry to break it to you all, but in an era when 10 years ago is now considered 'old school', the 90s are officially retro.

But, anyone who grew up in the era that gave us Adidas popper tracksuit bottoms, Tamagotchis, Take That and so much more, will know it was the best.

And if you agree with that sentiment, there's a chance to throw things back in serious style when a massive 90s night comes to Gateshead.

On Friday, May 3, The Brewery Tap - a place that was absolutely buzzing during the World Cup last summer - is hosting night dedicated to the 90s, featuring Spice Girls tribute Spice Girlz.

If you haven't got tickets to the real thing on their reunion tour at Sunderland's Stadium of Light in June, this is the next thing.

Or maybe you have tickets and want something to get you in the mood perfectly? With a Back to the 90s DJ set also on the agenda for May 3, it should definitely do that!

Early bird tickets are now on sale online from Skiddle, priced just £8. Once they're gone the price will go up to £11.25 including fees.

Brewery Tap is in Contract House, Wellington Road in Gateshead.
