Gatehouse Primary pupils put on a show for the rest of the school

Gatehouse Primary P5/6/7 put on a performance of their show to the rest of the school.

Super Stan was all about a rather clumsy young man called Stanley who becomes a superhero, saving the world from the evil Candy King.

It emerges Stan’s gran is a retired superhero herself and she, along with her friends, helped him save the day.

The show has a comic duo called Curly and Wurly, who are from the Rent-a-Villain agency.

The Candy King has a troupe of minions working for him who are paid peanuts.

The children gave great performances and really shone on stage. A DVD of the recording is being created to raise funds for new microphones and a speaker.

Teachers Mrs Clark, Mrs Hunt and Mrs Irving are extremely proud of all the hard work the children put in to creating such a fantastic show.

Thanks go to all the families who supported the production by supplying costumes and ordering DVDs.
