Gatehouse of Fleet couple receive extra-special Christmas present with arrival of little Munro

A Gatehouse of Fleet couple received an extra-special present on Christmas Day.

Kaighley and James Cruickshanks celebrated the arrival of their first child when Kaighley gave birth to little Munro Arthur Dear Cruickshanks.

Kaighley, 34, said: “He is very small – he is only 5lbs 7oz - but he is absolutely healthy.

“I feel like I have been living in a box for three days. All the Christmas presents are still wrapped and the Christmas dinner is still in the fridge as I went in to labour on Christmas Eve!”

Child-minder Kaighley and 36-year-old James, who is a teacher at Gatehouse Primary, were married in 2017.
