Gas man sends woman creepy text before lingering outside her house for an hour

A woman has been left feeling disturbed after a gas man gave her his number - only to linger outside her house for more than an hour, before asking to be invited back in.

TikTok user Emily ( @frecklesemx ) had gotten along well with the man and decided to give him a text after he handed her a note with his number on following a routine boiler check.

"Hey Ed, thanks for giving me your number. And thanks for being sweet," Emily wrote, to which he responded: "No problem, you're welcome. If you don't mind me saying but you are gorgeous and I don't understand how you're not taken."

Things started off fairly well between the pair (@frecklesemx)

It all sounds fairly normal so far, however things took a pretty sharp turn when the gas man went on to say that Emily's PJs had "turned him on," only for her to look out her window and discover he was still sitting there.

"You could not make this up," the woman said in a clip. "So the gas man gave me his number today and I decided to text it and see what he would say."

She added: "Started off normal... why is he not driving off?"

After the direct comment about Emily's PJs, the man added: "Well like I said I'm on call this weekend. So if you have any problems give a shout and I'll be the one coming??"

However, when Emily didn't reply, he sent another message, which read: "I can come back in as I'm just sat outside, waiting to finish before moving on to my next job. Rather that texting [each] other??"

In a follow up clip, Emily revealed the man had been waiting outside her house for more than an hour, before sharing a screengrab of him asking her to take the video down because he could lose his job.

"Can you please delete your TikTok that you posted of me sat outside yours," he wrote. "I could lose my job and now looking at this it does come across creepy. I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway."

Emily initially said she would delete the video, however she later changed her mind after she received a message informing her that he actually has a girlfriend.

What a rollercoaster.
