The M60 has reopened after closing due to a gas leak.
The incident closed the motorway in both directions from junction 17 Whitefield Interchange to junction 13 Worsley Interchange in the early hours of this morning.
The road was expected to remain closed until at least midday on Thursday (January 21).
However, the gas leak was repaired sooner than expected and the stretch of motorway has now reopened.
