Gary Woodland broke out the coolest celebration for his U.S. Open win

Gary Woodland finally had the breakthrough he’s worked for since turning professional in 2007. At 35 years old, the golfer from Topeka, Kansas, won the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach on Sunday for the first major victory of his career.

But let’s stop and appreciate the celebration from Woodland. It was absolutely on point.

After competing with a late push from two-time defending U.S. Open champion Brooks Koepka, Woodland saved his best shots for the final two holes. His championship-clinching birdie on 18 sent him into the coolest “Are you not entertained” expression and fist pump.

As far as golf celebrations go, this was A+ work.

Again, it had it all. The raised putter. The ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED. The legendary fist pump.

It was the kind of cinematic reaction that golfers dream about.

He executed the celly to absolute perfection.

Woodland finished the tournament at 13-under. He shot a 69 on the day.
