Gary Neville has urged a Bolton MP to reveal the guestlist of an alleged Downing Street Christmas party during lockdown last year.
Posting an open letter on Twitter, the ex-Manchester United defender also asked Consrvative Mark Logan if he was invited to the supposed bash.
Mr Neville added that ‘we need MPs to stand up and do the right thing and speak out against wrongdoing’.

Recently, Boris Johnson has been dogged by accusations that two Christmas parties were held at Number 10, while the rest of the country was subject to coronavirus lockdown rules.
The Daily Mirror reported two events took place in No 10 last year in the run-up to the festive season, including Boris Johnson giving a speech at a leaving do during November’s lockdown.
Over the weekend, deputy PM Dominic Raab said Mr Johnson had assured him no Covid rules had been broken over the alleged December 18 gathering.
However, Gary Neville has pushed for answers on the allegations closer to home, in making a direct plea to the Bolton North East MP.
“I am writing to you to ask for an explanation as to why the residents of Bolton had to lockdown last Christmas, whilst the Prime Minister was partying with his colleagues and friends,” his letter began.

It continued: “Did you attended [sic] any Christmas party related events with the Prime Minister or the Cabinet? Can I also ask you to state your position on this matter, how you feel and can you get access to the attendee list?
“I think your constituents of Bolton would appreciate it if you asked the PM for the list of attendees and/or asked a similar question at PMQs.”
The letter attracted more than 7,000 likes on Twitter two-and-a-half hours after being posted by Mr Neville.
Boris Johnson has not denied reports that members of his Downing Street team staged a party on December 18 last year when London was under Tier 3 restrictions but has insisted that no rules were broken.
Mark Logan MP has been contacted for comment.
