Gary Neville to analyse classic Manchester United match on retro Monday Night Football - Arsenal fans will hate it

Football and other sports around the world have been rocked by the coronavirus outbreak, leaving fans with limbo as they're left without their fix of football at a time when we're usually entering the business end of the campaign.

This week, it was announced that the suspension of fixtures in the Premier League and the EFL would be extended until the end of April leaving fans without live football for at least another month.

Sky Sports have something up their sleeve though, as a special Monday Night Football Retro programme will be aired at 7pm on Monday.

The two-hour episode, shown on Sky Sports Football, will see Manchester United legend Gary Neville alongside his regular pundit partner Jamie Carragher, as they run the rule over some classic Premier League matches.

United are among the clubs to feature, as an hour of the programme will be dedicated to their emphatic 6-1 victory over Arsenal in 2001 - where Dwight Yorke scored a first-half hat-trick.

The other hour of the show will focus on a memorable result from November 2000, where Leeds United fought back from 2-0 down to beat Liverpool 4-3 - with Mark Viduka securing a four-goal haul.

While it doesn't solve the problems for fans wanting to watch live action, it should be an enjoyable hour for United fans.
