Liverpool have to win the Premier League title, according to Gary Neville.
The Reds are the only team in the domestic competition to have won their first three matches of the 2019/20 campaign, after a 3-1 victory over Arsenal on Saturday .
Last term saw Jurgen Klopp's men push Manchester City all the way for the crown only to finish second after amassing a record-breaking 97 points.
And this season Liverpool, who won the Champions League last season, look to have picked up where they left off and are likely to push Pep Guardiola's side to the limit again.
But Neville has stressed that Klopp needs to lead them to "the holy grail".
"There's one thing Liverpool have to do, they have to win a Premier League title," he said on The Gary Neville podcast.
"Jurgen Klopp's here, has been here now for three or four years, the team has been progressing season in season out.
"Last year winning the Champions League and pushing City like they did, I've never seen a title race like it in terms of the quality and the amount of points that were amassed.
"But obviously the Premier League is the holy grail for Liverpool, they haven't won it for such a long time.
"It's gonna be City and them again I think. When you watch the first few weeks of the season, they look like both of them are in the same type of form, both of them are not gonna let go.
"And I have to say, from Liverpool's point of view today that's a really impressive performance.
