Gary Neville sends message to Tottenham Hotspur after Champions League victory over Man City

Gary Neville has sent a cheeky message to Tottenham Hotspur after they knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League.

A dramatic night at the Etihad Stadium saw five first-half goals exchanged, before Fernando Llorente bundled home to put Spurs in control after Sergio Aguero's goal for the hosts.

There was still time for more drama, as Raheem Sterling saw a match-winning goal ruled out due to offside, and it left City's hopes of an unprecedented quadruple in tatters.

City now have to gather themselves for a clash against the same opponent in the Premier League this weekend, as they look to defend their crown and beat Liverpool to the title.

"An amazing game and well done to Spurs. All your players must be really tired. Take a rest Saturday!" he posted on Twitter.
