Gary Neville has hit out at Paul Pogba for returning to the form he showed before Jose Mourinho's sacking at Manchester United .
The Frenchman was well below-par on Tuesday night as United exited the Champions League following a 4-0 aggregate defeat to Barcelona .
Pogba was outstanding during Solskjaer's spell as interim boss but he has not been at his best since then, despite his two goals against West Ham on Saturday.
Real Madrid continue to be linked with a move for Pogba and Neville pulled no punches in his assessment of the World Cup winner.
"Pogba’s now playing how he was pre-Ole’s arrival," the former United defender told beIN Sports.

“I thought he was really poor , rolling his foot over the ball all the time, playing for himself, not popping it off and moving, didn’t look interested at times.
"But he’s a great player, and can be a great player, he just needs to get that focus back.”
United fell behind to a fine Lionel Messi opener before a shocking mistake from David de Gea gifted the Argentine his second and ultimately secured Barca's progression.

Neville has urged the Spaniard to come out and explain his error amid criticism coming his way.
“I don’t know where it came from. I know people have said De Gea has made some mistakes in the last 12 months - but not many like that for Manchester United. I can’t think of any like that for Manchester United," he added.
"I think it’s important when you make a mistake of that nature, in your home country, he’s now an experienced player. I hope he’s the one who comes out and explains it. I think that would bode well for him.”
