Gary Neville's response when quizzed on Premier League's most underrated player

Gary Neville has revealed the surprise answer to who he thinks is the most underrated player in the Premier League.

The Manchester United legend took part in a QnA session on his Twitter on Wednesday.

Neville answered questions from when he thinks lockdown will end to the worst treatment he ever got from Sir Alex Ferguson.

The former right-back also fielded plenty of currently football questions, including who he thinks the most underrated player in the Premier League is right now.

Neville revealed his answer of Liverpool ’s box-to-box workhorse Gini Wijnaldum, simply tweeting back: “Wijnaldum (maybe spelt wrong).”

He did manage to spell it correctly, but Neville also rubbed plenty of fans the wrong way, including Liverpool fans.

Neville’s former club United drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, their second goalless result in a matter of days.

And he reckons that Chelsea and Liverpool, who are targeting a return to the top four, will be licking their lips after seeing a poor display from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

Neville told Sky Sports after the match: “They’re now making it really hard for themselves.

“If you were Liverpool and Chelsea watching this at home, you'd be thinking 'right we're in with a right chance'. They look leggy. Manchester United have got to find something from somewhere.

"There was no sort or urgency at the end of the game. You expected United to throw everything at it. Off the bench you expected some of the young lads to come on and do something, take a chance or a risk. But almost a fear that Palace could counter attack.

"They look worn. We know the fans aren't in the stadium and we know there's not been a lot of football. But they really did look lethargic tonight and well off it. The body language, they looked really drained.

"I thought progress in the last few weeks had been made in the sense that they would cement that second place by picking three points at places like Crystal Palace."
