Gary Neville's hilarious reaction to the moment West Ham took a 2-1 lead against Liverpool

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville delivered an hilarious reaction to West Ham United taking a 2-1 lead against Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League this evening.

Having fallen behind to an early Gigi Wijnaldum header, the Hammers responded immediately through a headed goal of their own courtesy of Issa Diop.

And the night was to get even better for the relegation-threatened Hammers nine minutes after half time when they completed the turnaround to get 2-1 up courtesy of a well-taken finish from midfielder Pablo Fornals.

At that point, with the Hammers looking on course to deliver one of the shocks of the season and become the first side to beat Liverpool in the Premier League this term, Neville took to Twitter.

The former Manchester United star, who was in the Sky Sports Monday Night Football Studio alongside former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, decided to poke fun at his colleague by posting a video of himself laughing at the fact that Liverpool could be in danger of blowing their staggering lead at the top of the table.

The former Manchester United man said: "Tune in, tune in! This mob are blowing it. They are throwing it away. They are bottling it again!"

Ultimately, though, Neville's fun was not to last too long as Liverpool came roaring back thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, ensuring Jurgen Klopp's side won 3-2 to move one step closer to the Premier League title.
