Gary Neville's hilarious reaction to Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher's Manchester United debate

Whenever Roy Keane is on Sky Sports, more often than not, you can be guaranteed entertainment.

The passionate former Manchester United captain is renowned for delivering no-nonsense analysis and bullish, ultra-honest criticism.

So what followed United's 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening made for engrossing television, with the former Old Trafford skipper going toe-to-toe with Sky Sports colleague and former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher in a heated debate over United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Keane had been left less than impressed by United caretaker boss Michael Carrick's decision to leave the former Real Madrid man on the substitutes bench for the trip to Stamford Bridge, whereas Carragher saw nothing wrong with Carrick's thinking.

The two of them — with former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink sat between the pair of them in the Sky Sports studio — went hammer and tongs at each other for more than five minutes, debating the merits of United bringing Ronaldo back to the club.

Hasselbaink and presenter Dave Jones sat back and watched a hugely entertaining spectacle unfold.

As the pair of them continued to rant and rave at each other, fellow Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville, who was at home watching on TV, took to social media to react to the explosiveness that was unfolding before everyone's very eyes.

Neville uploaded a video to his Twitter account of Keane and Carragher going at each other on the TV in the background, whilst he turned the camera on himself to show him laughing and smiling, with his two colleagues continuing to shout over each other just to get their opinions across.

It was a remarkable scene, and one that most certainly made for good entertainment.

After Neville had taken to Twitter, Carragher joined him in doing the same a little later on.

Although he didn't offer a video or any words to react to what had happened, he decided to change his profile picture and shared a post about it to notify his followers.

Carragher decided to change his profile picture to a smiling and baffled Hasselbaink, who was sat directly between the former England defender and Keane as they expressed their opinions.

This debate will surely go down as one of the most famous in Sky Sports' recent history.
