Gary Neville's former Bolton mansion up for sale

Gary Neville's former mansion is on the market and it could be yours - if you have a few million spare.

The ex-Manchester United star turned pundit sold the converted barn home around 18 years ago.

The secluded 35-acre property was built in 1999, the same year Neville claimed the treble with United.

Neville sold his former home, Meadow Barn, on the outskirts of Bolton, in 2003 and was last on the market in 2016.

And he still owns land nearby where he tried to build his Teletubby-style eco house.

But now the four-bedroom house, which has its own mini five-hole golf course, a tennis court and infinity pool, is up for sale again.

Bury-born Neville, 45, isn't the only Manchester United legend to have once resided at the property.

David Beckham is said to have regularly stayed over when wife Victoria was away, in what became known by its next owner as the 'Beckham Suite'.

For football fans, there is a touch of history still lingering in the property with two hand-carved lions bearing the crests of both United and England.

No expense has been spared on the property with £1m of Clive Christian fitted furnishing throughout the house, a £60,000 bar in a fully equipped entertainment room, which includes disco strobe lighting, karaoke equipment and a 6ft projector screen.

The property is being sold by estate agent PLM Sales and have advertised a price on application (POA) but when it last went up for sale in 2016, it was on the market for £2,999,950.
