Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany stepped up to the plate with a long-range wonder goal to help his side move top of the Premier League on Monday night and Blues' fans will love the reaction from Gary Neville.
Pep Guardiola's men had been tamed for the most part by Leicester as the frustrations of Man City potentially giving up the edge to Liverpool in the race for the title settled in, but won the game 1-0 thanks to Kompany.
From absolutely nowhere, Kompany rifled in a shot from distance past Kasper Schmeichel, whose attempted save couldn't stop the ball nestling in the net.
Man City fans, players and Guardiola were left delirious but it wasn't just those with associations with the club who got a little lost in the moment.
Even Manchester United legend turned Sky Sports' pundit Gary Neville provided a brilliant reaction to the goal, with the former defender in complete shock after the outstanding goal and claiming that the centre-back deserves a statue wherever he wants it.
"Never in my life Vincent Kompany, he thought about hitting it the first time," Neville explained when analysing the goal on Sky Sports.
"He ignores it, he goes a bit further forward. Wow. Where do you want your statue Vincent Kompany?
"You talk about leaders, characters, personalities, stepping up when you most need it. He looks up to the heavens and he sees this captain. They stood off thinking shoot, I don’t want another pass to my winger."
