Gary Neville has blasted Romelu Lukaku following his controversial remarks on Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and questioned the commitment he showed while at Manchester United.
Lukaku caused a stir this week after an explosive interview with Sky Sports Italy, in which he criticised the Chelsea boss' tactical set-up and expressed his unhappiness at Stamford Bridge, just a few months on from returning to London in a £90million move from Inter.
"Physically I am fine. But I'm not happy with the situation at Chelsea. Tuchel has chosen to play with another system," was the headline quote from the former United man.

Lukaku also spoke of his desire to return to Inter while still at the peak of his powers and Tuchel has hit back by dropping the striker from his squad completely for Sunday's massive clash in the Premier League title race against Liverpool.
Dropping such an important player, who has three goals in his last two games, is quite the statement but Neville agrees with the manager completely and expressed doubts he had over Lukaku during his time at United between 2017 and 2019.
"I think he's made absolutely the right call," he said while on commentary duty for the match with Sky Sports.
"I think if we're looking at it from a neutral point of view and a media point of view, we can't criticise Romelu Lukaku for being honest, however, I have to say, if I was a Chelsea manager, player, fan or owner I'd be absolutely furious.
"And I remember when he was at Old Trafford a few years ago, when it's your own, club I didn't feel he was committed at Old Trafford, I didn't shed a tear when he left because I didn't feel he was always professional."
Despite the fallout over the last week, Neville does believe that the pair will come to an accord and that Lukaku will soon re-join the squad soon rather than be sold in January.
"He's told the truth, it's an uncomfortable truth, it's very difficult to unravel the truth but I do think that he will reintegrate him, Thomas Tuchel, over the next couple of weeks," he added.
"I don't think he will cut his losses in January. I do think there will be some form of apology and contrition in the next week or so but I think he's done the right thing today.
"I think to not make a stand against a player who's done an interview like that in midweek would make him look weak and I think it's what his fans would want from him as well."
