The transfer window may be shut but that hasn't stopped Gary Neville from thinking about his former club Manchester United.
Ole Gunner Solskjaer's side are in a period of transition as they look towards a change of approach in the transfer market which has seen them focus on adding homegrown talent.
This has seen the likes of Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire join the squad.
If Manchester United are to move themselves closer to rivals Manchester City and Liverpool, then they'll certainly need to up their game in the transfer market.
Neville was hosting a Q&A on Twitter on Tuesday morning and was asked which three players he'd sign for his former club.
He responded: "(Rafael) Varane, (N'Golo) Kante and ((Kylian) Mbappe."
The trio are undoubtedly regarded as some of Europe's finest, but a move for all three could be a little bit ambitious given Manchester United's current position.
However the link with Kante may not be well received by fans of Chelsea.
The Frenchman is undoubtedly one of Frank Lampard's key men, especially given the transfer ban imposed on the club over the summer.
While the likes of Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham seem to have taken to the challenge at Stamford Bridge, it will still be essential for the Blues to keep hold of their more experienced players.
What Kante brings to the team cannot be underestimated, and it's safe to say that the likelihood of the Blues even entertaining such a hypothetical link is very slim indeed.
