Gary Neville makes 'something not right' Liverpool admission as Reds could still move for free agents

Gary Neville explains why he thinks 'something is not right' at Liverpool

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has discussed the situation at Liverpool, the transfer window fallout and recent comments from Jurgen Klopp.

According to the former Manchester United player, the Reds are not the same force they were a season or two ago and he's backed United to finish above Jurgen Klopp's side this term.

He said: "I was at the game on Saturday, Liverpool v Chelsea, and I said after the game - sometimes you can't put your finger on it [but] something's not right.

"Not bad. There's no massive spirit issue, or the manager falling out with players. Nothing like that."

His comments certainly sparked debate, with some supporters agreeing with the pundits' points whilst others have said they have full faith in Klopp.

Five free agents Everton and Liverpool could still sign after deadline day

The summer transfer window may be over, but players could still be on the move despite Tuesday night's deadline.

It was a high-profile window for a number of clubs across Europe, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi joining Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.

For Liverpool, it was a relatively low-key summer with only one key addition in Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.

But players remain available and free agents can still be snapped up.

Tottenham's Serge Aurier was released on deadline day by Tottenham Hotspur, whilst former Red Daniel Sturridge is still without a club after his release from Trabzonspor last year.

Romantic returns and potential plan b's, could either Merseyside club do any late business?
