Gary Neville finally reveals who he wants to see win the Premier League title

Gary Neville has admitted he'd rather see Liverpool win the Premier League this season than Manchester City win the quadruple.

The Reds are currently two points clear of Pep Guardiola's side having played a game more, while City take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League quarter-finals fresh from beating Brighton & Hove Albion to set up an FA Cup Final clash with Watford.

City have already won one piece of silverware this season after beating Chelsea to lift the League Cup earlier in the campaign.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp's side have their own Champions League ambitions with FC Porto their next hurdle before returning to league action against Chelsea this weekend as they look to win their first title in 29 years.

And having seen City begin to dominate English football in recent years, Manchester United legend Neville conceded he'd prefer Liverpool to come out on top in the title race when forced to pick between his former club's fiercest rivals.

"I'm not keen on Liverpool winning the league, but I am less keen on Man City winning the quadruple," he told Sky Sports.

"I'm not smiling, I've got nothing to smile about here!" Neville declared. "I don't think both teams will be perfect towards the end of the season.

"With the Champions League thrown in I just don't think it will happen. To be honest with you, I'm not sure about that in any way, shape or form, I honestly am not."
