Gary Neville appeared to bury the hatchet with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on Tuesday night after a series of back-and-forth exchanges.
The Manchester United hero earned the wrath of Klopp after he launched into a rant over the European Super League on Sunday.
Neville criticised Liverpool's decision to get involved in the breakaway competition and referenced their anthem of 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.
Klopp then responded by tearing into Neville on Monday night and claimed the former United centre-back has been following the money throughout his career.
Sky Sports pundit Neville was bemused and questioned why he was 'in Klopp's head'.
But after the announcement was made over Liverpool's withdrawal from the Super League, Neville commended the Reds boss.
He said: "James Milner last night: well done to you, well done to Jurgen Klopp for coming out and speaking out because that takes real guts.
"Well done to Luke Shaw this afternoon, to Marcus Rashford, to Harry Maguire, well done to Patrick Bamford, the Leeds players for wearing t-shirts, all the fans up and down the country. Enough is enough.”
Klopp never hid his displeasure about the idea of the Super League, and said before Monday's game against Leeds that his opinion hadn't changed.
And Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool's owners, Fenway Sports Group, have little future left at Anfield after the Super League fell apart.
"Jurgen Klopp has thrown them under the bus," he said. "Their own captain has thrown them under the bus with the rest of the squad. Even your dad has Kelly [Kenny Dalglish].
"There's nothing left for Liverpool's owners in what they are doing or what they're hanging on for.
"I don't see how they can continue. They can't just leave the club obviously; it's a business and it's worth a lot of money if they sold it.
"I don't see a future for the ownership of FSG at Liverpool on the back of this. I think they're making it worse for themselves the longer they hang in."
