Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher disagree over Chelsea and Tottenham top-four predictions

Tottenham Hotspur will claim the final top-four spot over Chelsea at the end of the Premier League season.

That is the view of Manchester United legend Gary Neville, who predicted the race for Champions League football following the Blues' 3-0 win over West Ham United on Monday night.

A brace from Tammy Abraham and Thiago Silva's first-half header ensured Chelsea bounced back from two successive defeats against Everton and Wolves in style to get their Champions League push back on track.

Victory for Frank Lampard's side meant they moved above Spurs in the table and will be London's top club at Christmas.

But do they have enough to be the top team in the whole division come May?

Well, Neville doesn't think so as he has tipped Liverpool to retain the Premier League trophy and for both Manchester clubs to complete the top three.

"I said they were going to at the start of the season," Neville said on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football show. "That moment around Villa, Van Dijk getting injured, I thought that it could be interesting but they’ve settled down.

"They'll have bumps, they didn’t have them last season, but I’ll think they’ll definitely get there."

"I think City and United will definitely finish in the top-three.

"I think it will be Chelsea or Tottenham and it’s the flip of a coin."

Whilst Carragher agreed with his colleague regarding United claiming a top-four spot because of the firepower at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's disposal, his tip is for Chelsea to pip Spurs to fourth place.

"I think United will, their attacking power is just fantastic, you look at the bench at the weekend, they have a really strong squad and you always fancy them to score goals in games," he said.

"I think they will be there or thereabouts."
