Gary Moore not keen on pitting Botox Has vs Goshen in Cheltenham Festival's Triumph Hurdle

Gary Moore said he would not be keen on running his two exciting juveniles against each other at the Cheltenham Festival.

The trainer's Botox Has (8/11f) was a comfortable winner of the JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle, the first race on day two of the International Meeting.

Moore has the ante-post favourite for the March contest in the shape of Goshen.

When asked if he would like to send them down different routes, he said: "I would like to but it's the owner's prerogative.

"If they both have to run in the same race then they have to do it but it's not something I'd be keen on doing.

"There's lot of nice young horses to come out yet."

Joshua Moore kept things simple on the market leader and despite wandering on the run-in, which the trainer put down to the headwind, he was five lengths ahead at the line.

Paddy Power make the winner a 20/1 shot for the Triumph Hurdle. Goshen is 8/1 with the same firm.

"As you saw all he does is stay really," Moore said after the Cheltenham opener.

"To go and win five lengths when you're only a length down at the last proves he's just an out and out galloper.

"I do feel he's a better horse coming off a strong pace.

"They are two very nice juveniles."

Moore added that he would be considering the Chatteris Fen Juvenile Hurdle in January for one of the pair.
