Hearts have secured the signing of Gary Mackay-Steven as he returns from a two season spell in Major League Soccer.
The former Celtic and Aberdeen winger had been earning close to $6,000 per week at New York City FC.
However, the American side opted not to take up their option on Mackay-Steven for the 2021 campaign after he managed three goals in 35 appearances while Stateside.
Despite interest the Dons' in bringing him back to Pittodrie, he has penned a deal at Tynecastle until 2023.
The 30-year-old, who has twice been capped for Scotland, was delighted to return to Scotland and will be a huge boost for the club as they look to lift the Championship title this term.
During his time in Scotland, the forward has lifted three Scottish Premiership titles with Celtic and claimed the 2016/17 Scottish League Cup.
