Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker aimed a light-hearted dig at Spurs left-back Sergio Reguilon in the build-up to the Marine v Tottenham third-round FA Cup tie.
Reguilon was recently pictured breaking coronavirus rules alongside teammates Erik Lamela and Giovanni Lo Celso, and West Ham's Manuel Lanzini.
The Premier League quartet were with a number of other friends and family at a Christmas party that was in clear breach of the government's strict coronavirus rules.
Lineker joked ahead of the tie: “Marine are in their usual home dressing room, but Jose Mourinho’s team talk will be delivered from the Arriva Suite, a function room that can be hired out for parties. Reguilon has already enquired apparently.”
Reguilon was the only one of the Tottenham trio to be selected for the cup tie, starting the fixture on the substitutes bench.
All four Premier League stars involved have offered heartfelt apologies for their actions, with West Ham's Lanzini making a sizeable donation to a local food bank in an attempt to make amends for his actions, something the Hammers bossed said was "a really good gesture."
Tottenham traveled to the Crosby based Marine to take part in what is the largest mismatch in the 150-year history of the FA Cup.
Jose Mourinho is not taking the encounter lightly naming a team stacked full of internationals, the starting eleven boasted a staggering 402 caps between them.
Marine's starting team is one made up of part-time footballers who have won six FA Cup ties just to get to the third round, the same number of fixtures Spurs would have to play to win the entire competition.
