Gary Lineker trolls Manchester United on Twitter after Leicester win

Match of the Day host Gary Lineker has not taken Leicester's defeat to Manchester United well, as he took to Twitter to criticise Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's tactics.

United beat Leicester thanks to Marcus Rashford's eighth minute penalty, but had to hold on towards the end as Leicester threatened an equaliser.

However, Solskjaer's men secured the win - their second of the season after the opening day win against Chelsea. United had dropped points in the three game after that Chelsea victory, and the relief was evident at the final whistle at Old Trafford.

But while United did what was necessary, Leicester fan Lineker took to Twitter to take a tongue-in-cheek swipe at United's defensive tactics in the second half, as he posted: "A win for @ManUtd. Leicester once again struggling against a team who just sit back and defend."

Some United fans sided with Lineker's assessment, suggesting United should be taking the game to teams at home rather than settling for 1-0 victories.

But others rose to Lineker's bait, calling the former England striker a sore loser and suggesting Leicester should have done more to take advantage of United's conservative performance.
