Gary Lineker has reacted to Ben Chilwell's goal for Chelsea against Porto in the Champions League quarter-final.
The Blues enjoyed a fantastic night in Seville, with two away goals to their name against the Portuguese side at the neutral venue.
Thomas Tuchel saw his side go a goal to the good in the first-half after a fantastic touch from Mason Mount saw him get away from the defender, before the midfielder slammed the ball into the far bottom corner.
At half-time, Rio Ferdinand lauded Mount for his strike which set Chelsea on their way in Spain.
Ferdinand said on BT Sport: “An exquisite finish, they were patient.
"This was one of the main times they pinned back the Porto team. This ball here, the way he passes it in (from Jorginho).
"The turn was just immaculate, the finish - maybe he got a bit fortunate with the goalkeeper just sticking his leg out, but a fantastic finish in the end.”
Then it was time for Chilwell, who picked the ball up on the left-hand side and found himself through one-on-one, where he rounded Agustin Marchesin in the Porto goal and tapped the ball into an empty net.
Lineker, taking to Twitter was quick to praise Chilwell by saying: "Well, well, @BenChilwell did well. Chelsea 2 up."
It was an excellent goal and also so unusual for a full-back to score, but that run and finish just about epitomises the England defender's time at Stamford Bridge, as he's enjoyed a fantastic first season for the Blues.
The defender has been in and out of the team under Tuchel with Marcos Alonso occasionally getting the nod with the German coach preferring a three-at-the-back system.
