Gary Lineker shares rare pic of stepdaughter as he 'finally' reunites with her in America

Gary Lineker has shared that he's "finally" been able to visit his stepdaughter in America amid a change in travel rules.

The 60-year-old posted photos of his trip to Boston in Massachusetts, where Ella is studying at university, earlier this afternoon on his official Instagram account.

In a post on his page, which included a series of autumnal photos, he wrote: "Always wanted to visit Boston in the fall/autumn. It didn’t disappoint. Stunningly beautiful city."

And the former footballer also shared a rare snap of his stepdaughter, writing with it: "Finally able to travel to Boston to visit my wonderful stepdaughter Ella, who's at BU."

It's understood that Ella is the daughter of Gary's ex-wife Danielle Bux from a previous relationship with Adam Willis.

Gary married Danielle in 2009 with the couple divorcing in 2016. Despite no longer being together, he has previously stated that they remain "best mates" with each other.

Prior to his relationship with Danielle, the Match of the Day presenter was married to Michelle Cockayne until 2006. They share four sons: George, Harry, Tobias and Angus.

Since her divorce from Gary, actor and model Danielle has married lawyer Nate Greenwald. The couple are understood to have a daughter together, named Romy.

It's a been a busy time for Gary lately as alongside sports presenting, he's also seen hosting new game show Sitting on a Fortune - which debuted on ITV over the weekend.

The "high tension" game show offers contestants the chance to win up to £100,000 in a "pulse-quickening general knowledge quiz" featuring six players each week.

Contestants position themselves in a row of seats - one behind the other - and only the player in the front gets the chance to answer questions. A wrong answer sees them relegated to the back, whilst the others move forward.

Only the person in the front has the chance of winning the jackpot, with ITV teasing: "Who can stay in the hot seat long enough to take away up to £100,000? In this show there really can only be one player left sitting on a fortune."

Sitting on a Fortune, presented by Gary Lineker, continues on ITV this Sunday (November 14) from 7pm. You can catch up on the first episode now through the ITV Hub.
