Gary Lineker has reminded Mino Raiola that Paul Pogba's Manchester United career isn't over yet because he has a game on Tuesday night.
Raiola officially confirmed the Frenchman wants out at Old Trafford on the eve of the Red Devils' Champions League clash with RB Leipzig.
Dutch-Italian super agent, Raiola told Tuttosport: "I can say that it's over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United."
But Lineker has immediately hit back, reminding both Raiola and Pogba that the World Cup winner is still contracted to United until he officially pens a contract with another club.
"Not quite over," tweeted Lineker. "There's a pretty big game to play tomorrow for starters. You'd think he might bear that in mind."
Raiola confirmed his client is looking to leave United in January. He failed, however, to name potential clubs he could join.
Pogba flew out to Germany with his Manchester United team-mates on Monday night ahead of their Champions League Group H clash with Leipzig.
The Frenchman, who has made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils this season, is in contention to play.
Pogba admitted before the international break that he is struggling at United this season.
The midfielder told RTL France: "This is a period that I haven't previously experienced in my career, as I've been used to playing all the time and getting into my rhythm, so that's suddenly changed.
"I feel I'm gradually getting back into it now. I'm rediscovering my form. That's the sort of performance that I need to produce and I need to do so consistently.
"[The international break] it's like a window that opens up. It's a breath of fresh air when you come here. We have a truly fantastic squad. When we come here, we're all happy.
"We're all pleased to see one another. We really enjoy ourselves on the pitch. That doesn't mean we don't enjoy ourselves at club level, but it's not the same here. We're a real family, and we have so much fun when we come here."
