Gary Lineker has hailed Ayoze Perez's signing at Leicester City after the Spaniard completed his move from Newcastle United.
And the Match of the Day host - famously a big Foxes fan - even had a tongue-in-cheek message for Magpies legend Alan Shearer.
Perez made the switch from Newcastle to Leicester today in a move believed to be in the region of £30m.
It is the first big exit of the post-Rafa Benitez era for Newcastle, but Lineker was pleased with the signing for his club.
He tweeted: "Good signing for @LCFC . Really impressed with @AyozePG last season. We’ll look after him @alanshearer ."
Following the move, Perez said: "I’m very happy and very pleased. I’m very proud to be part of the Leicester family and I can’t wait to get started.
“The club want to keep growing as much as they can and that’s something I like."
