Gary Lineker's reaction to Chelsea's penalty shootout win vs Frankfurt sums up the week in Europe

It has been an incredible week in Europe for English football sides, with Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea all reaching major European finals.

On Tuesday, Liverpool overturned a three-goal first leg deficit as they won 4-0 against Barcelona at Anfield to progress to the final of the Champions League.

They were then joined by fellow Premier League side Tottenham , who produced a similarly incredible comeback against Ajax in Amsterdam on Wednesday night, fighting back from three goals down on aggregate to secure their place in an all-English final in Madrid on June 1.

But not only that, Arsenal and Chelsea then followed up the success of the two Premier League sides by reaching the final of the Europa League last night (Thursday), making it the first time that both finals would be contested by teams from the same country.

Arsenal won 4-2 in Spain against Valencia, winning 7-3 on aggregate against Los Che to seal their place in the final in Baku on May 29.

And Chelsea joined them in the final after overcoming Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on penalties, after a tense night at Stamford Bridge.
