Gary Lineker has provided a brilliant reaction to a strange incident in Tottenham's Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea.
Deep into the second half, viewers were left perplexed when Spurs star Eric Dier sprinted off the pitch and down the tunnel.
Jose Mourinho followed, marching into the home dressing room after Dier while Spurs soldiered on with 10 men.
Dier later reappeared and it seems as though the cause for his disappearance was a sudden need to use the toilet.
That, of course, brings back memories for former Spurs striker Lineker who never made it to the loo in that famous England outing.
And he has delivered a superb response to the incident on Twitter.
He wrote: "Strange scenes as @ericdier runs off the pitch to the dressing room, followed hastily by Mourinho. Then Dier runs back out to resume playing. Presumably he needed the loo.
"Players just don’t s*** on the pitch anymore. What’s wrong with them?"
Dier returned to the pitch after the incident and scored a penalty in the penalty shootout.
