Gary Lineker reacts to Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham goals for Chelsea vs Norwich

Former England captain Gary Lineker has given his reaction to both Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount scoring for Chelsea against Norwich City.

Abraham bagged his first goal for the club when he opened the scoring against the Canaries early in the first half. Norwich quickly replied to make the scores 1-1, before Mason Mount's curling effort restored the Blues' lead.

However, the man in form Teemu Pukki struck his fifth goal of the season to ensure that the teams went into the half time break on level terms.

Lampard has been widely praised for giving young up and coming players a chance at the start of the season, and Lineker has now joined in and called on patience in order for it to be successful.

"Mount and Abraham with the early goals. Great to see youth finally getting its chance at @ChelseaFC. Hopefully this ambitious approach will get the patience it deserves," he wrote on his Twitter account.

Mason Mount scored his first Chelsea goal last week, netting the opener in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge, the 20-year-old was part of the England squad for the Nations League finals in the summer, although was an unused substitute.

Latest reports suggest that the Blues midfielder will again be called up to Gareth Southgate's squad ahead of the international break in two weeks time.
