"Electric on the field, delightful off it."
Speaking after the game, Son paid tribute to his Spurs teammates for helping him reach the century of goals.
"It was a really difficult game," he told BT Sport. "We knew how they were doing, they’re doing an unbelievable job and working so hard. We were creating chances from the start of the game and yeah, to get the clean sheet, 3-0, to start the New Year, it’s fantastic.
"Obviously, I’m very happy and grateful and the team-mates that have supported me. It’s not coming automatically, on my own, I need a lot of help for this big achievement and I’m really proud.
"I didn’t know that. To score 100 goals with one team, it’s big and I’m really proud and grateful. It’s a good thing to start the New Year.
"We’re working hard and working through a long time, six years together, and we know each other really well. I’m a bit sad that I couldn't give an assist today to H.
"Harry always finds me so for my goal, he knew I was there. Obviously the ball was perfect to me. Sometimes it’s telepathic, sometimes we’re talking about it.
"I really don’t mind. When we get the three points, it doesn’t matter who scores or gets the assists. We’re working hard every single time to get three points.
"It was very important because we dropped points and sometimes we were a bit unlucky. I think we’ve started the New Year well, back to winning ways, it’s very important."
