Gary Lineker has taken aim at former club Tottenham over their style of play.
Spurs have enjoyed a more than respectable start to the season, currently in fifth place and six points behind leaders Liverpool after Sunday's 1-1 draw with Wolves.
But criticism over Tottenham's style of play under Jose Mourinho is rife, and now former striker Lineker has got in on the act, albeit in teasing fashion.
Twitter is awash this morning with talk of a coronavirus tier 5, which does not actually exist currently, but is being used as a way to joke about increasing restrictions around the country.
And Lineker has joked about a tier five being introduced and it only ending with a vaccine jab or Tottenham doing something out of the ordinary.
He tweeted: "Seems Tier 5 might be on the way for London. This is where you must never leave your toilet, except to get bog-roll, until either they knock on your door with the vaccine or Spurs have an attack when leading."
That dig will feel all the more truthful after Sunday night's clash when Spurs led from the first minute to the 86th without killing the game off, something they were punished for when Romain Saiss equalised for Wolves with four minutes remaining.
Match of the Day pundit Stephen Warnock also suggested Spurs need to change the tactic of defending a lead, saying: “They do [need to be more on the front foot] and that is their game plan that he likes to employ. He likes to be counter-attacking.

“I don’t think Son was at the races today and Kane was a little bit fatigued as well. They have to do more to get up the pitch in the second half of matches.”
Spurs moved up to fifth with their draw at Molineux but missed an opportunity to close the gap on Liverpool to four points after Jurgen Klopp's men drew with West Brom earlier in the day.
