Gary Lineker has issued a positive prediction about Leeds United following a dramatic opening day clash in the Premier League against Liverpool.
The hosts took an early lead through Mohamed Salah's penalty but Jack Harrison equalised, before Virgil van Dijk and Patrick Bamford exchanged first-half goals.
Salah then restored Liverpool's lead before the interval but Leeds were not giving up without a fight, as Matheusz Klich scored Leeds' third equaliser of the game.
It certainly gave the Premier League and indication of what to expect with Marcelo Bielsa's side in the big time, with the performance making quite the impression.
Among those taken aback by the performance from Gary Lineker, as the former England striker and Match of the Day host took to social media to issue his verdict.
Among his flurry of tweets surrounding the match, which were full of his customary puns, he issued a confident prediction about Leeds for the forthcoming season.
"It's 3-3- as LUFC Klich again. They're going to be a really great watch this season," his post read.
